Evian
Political cartoon entitled, 'Will the Evian Conference guide him to freedom?' that was published in the Sunday, July 3, 1938 edition of The New York Times.

A conference took place in the French resort of Evian in 1938 to talk about the wave of Jewish refugees, but none of the nations present, including the United States, was willing to do more than they were already doing to help the Jews of Germany.
