The death of Fritz Pfeffer

Fritz Pfeffer has to leave Auschwitz in October 1944. The Nazis send him to Neuengamme, a concentration camp near Hamburg in northern Germany. The prisoners have to do heavy work there, and they are given very little to eat. Fritz Pfeffer falls ill, and dies on December 20, 1944. He is 55 years old. His death is recorded on this page of the Neuengamme concentration camp register.
