Peter van Pels
Only a few photos of Peter van Pels still exist. In this photo he is around fourteen years old.

Max van Creveld rents a room in the van Pels family house before the war. After the war he says:

‘I had my own room, and we all ate together every evening. Mr van Pels was a very charming character, and Mrs van Pels too. Peter was a fine boy. I can’t remember which school he went to now, but I do remember that he followed an upholstery course.’
